Finding restaurants that fit your fancy while visiting foreign cities is rough in any situation. We reviewed a handful of top notch restaurants in the area so that you don’t have to fit the search into your tourism of the city. These eateries have something for omnivores, carnivores and cheese lovers alike.

True Food Kitchen

The quaint and cute dining atmosphere will win any food lover over immediately. The walls are decorated with plants and everything smells like fresh fruit.

The price is a little on the expensive side but the portions at this place are pretty big and it is, for the most part, a menu of heart healthy food.

The menu is mainly health food driven with a comfort food twist. This place prides itself on its delicious yet for you menu. The chef likes to say that it is a journey to a healthful way of eating. This means that you are probably going to get something healthy even if you aren’t a kale eating junkee. But it’s is guaranteed to be good!

Some favorites of the menu that we had the pleasure of trying was the roasted artichoke panini, a tofu sandwich, and an albacore tuna bowl.

The artichoke panini featured almond ricotta cheese which was absolutely delicious and not to mention vegan. The real award goes to the tuna bowl though. It was a perfect blend of healthy fats to satisfy every taste bud without overeating!

The full bar really ties this place together by adding an immaculate beer and wine selection.

Raging Burrito

Although Mexican food may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you are looking for a bite to eat, this place is not one to miss.

The burrito selection is absolutely insane. They have every burrito filler you could have wanted in your wildest Mexican cuisine dreams. The super veggie burrito is especially endearing with its squash and broccoli combo that it offers. Meat lovers can enjoy the carne asada tacos which are another staple item on the menu.

The only strange thing about Raging Burrito is that is is only open on Mon, Wed, Fri and then the weekends so be sure to plan accordingly.

Soul Vegetarian

Another vegetarian option because we love veggies here. This place is popular among locals because it is said to please even the utmost carnivores satisfied.

The infamous smoked portabello burger is said to be life changing.
